A dog with a short coat or if the weather is warm; eliminates the need for a blow dry. On these occasions a simple wash followed by a towel dry is all that is needed. If a dog just cannot cope with the blow dryer it is best to go with a towel dry. Furtastic offers luxurious warm water in winter or cool water in summer to pamper your dog with a massaging and thorough wash followed by a thorough rinse off in clean water to remove all traces of soap off to ensure your dog doesn't suffer irritation. Your dog's coat is then given a towel dry instead of a blow dry. Only Premium quality, soap free shampoo & conditioner selected for your dog's skin type are used. The service is finished with a complimentary ear wipe and spritz of dog cologne. All in the convenience of your driveway in the airconditioned Furtastic mobile salon.

Wash and Blow Dry

Great for Winter and cooler months and long / double coat breeds

A Blow "Dry" is where every area of your dog is fully dry.

A Blow "Off" is where only the excess water is blown off leaving your dog still damp in its undercoat.

Dogs left damp or wet can develop skin conditions and have a doggy smell soon after. No need for your dog to be unhealthy or for you to suffer a smelly dog.

A reason people give for not wanting to wash their dogs in winter is they say it is too cold or its raining. Dogs skin and coat still need to be maintained over winter. Furtastic has the solution. Furtastic will come to your home with our fully enclosed mobile salon. While it may be raining or windy outside it is dry and cozy inside the mobile salon. The Furtastic trailer has a professional instant gas hot water system which gives continuous warm flowing water to pamper your dog with a warm, massaging, thorough wash followed by a thorough rinse off in clean warm water. Your dog's coat is then blow dried with a warm blow dryer.

Only Premium quality, soap free shampoo & conditioner selected for your dog's skin type are used.

The service is finished with a complimentary ear wipe and spritz of dog cologne. All in the convenience of your driveway in the Furtastic mobile salon.

Dogs that are heavily shedding will be charged De-shedding rates.

We don't want to have to charge you any extra fees...

WATER:

To service your dog the trailer needs to hook up to a mains water tap in your front yard. Have a spout already fitted on your water tap. No bore water will be acceptable to use.

POWER:
The trailer needs to hook up to your mains 10-amp power point. No power boards. If a large appliance such as a fridge or tumble dryer is plugged in to the same outlet they will need to be switched off for the duration of your appointment. Clear unobstructed access is required to a power point to the front of your home or in your garage. We do not enter client's home.

SPACE:

The tow car and trailer require 8m of flat, level ground in a safe and legal place that is easily accessible. Please be aware we do not service homes with battle axe driveways, business locations, homes situated in hill areas, units or flats.

COLLAR and LEAD:

Have a collar on your dog and a lead ready to clip on and walk your dog out to the trailer. We do not service dangerous dogs or dogs that bite. Fail to disclose such behavior endangers the dog groomer. The service will be immediately terminated, and no refund given.

PAYMENT:

Payment is cash or credit card at the start of the service. Please ensure you have payment on you prior to our arrival. Be aware any issues causing extra time to be spent on your dog's appointment attract additional fees.
