Preparing before your appointment helps everything run smoothly and keeps your dog’s wash stress-free.
Please ensure the following requirements are met before FURtastic Dog Wash Byford arrives.

• All vehicles must be moved before arrival.
• 10 meters of safe, level, legal parking is required for the car and trailer.
• I usually park on the street in front of your home, as most driveways cannot safely accommodate the car and trailer.
• The trailer cannot be parked over footpaths.
• Properties with battle-axe driveways or inclined driveways cannot be serviced.
• Once setup begins, the trailer cannot be moved. Requesting relocation ends the appointment and full fees apply.

• A front-yard mains water tap is required.
• Your tap must have a standard 12mm click-on fitting already installed.
• I use my own hose and equipment — I do not use clients’ hoses.
• Bore water cannot be used.
• Safe, unobstructed access to the tap is required.

• A clear, safe, dedicated 10-amp power point is required.
• No power boards or extension leads.
• Large appliances (fridges, dryers, etc.) on the same circuit must be switched off during the appointment.
• Access should be available from the front of your home or garage.
• FURtastic Dog Wash Byford does not enter clients’ homes.
• Power cords cannot be run through front doors, sliding doors, or any doorway, as this damages the cord and creates a serious trip hazard.

• All appointments have a set time limit. If your dog is not presented promptly when I am ready to begin, there may not be enough time left in the appointment to complete the service.
• Your dog must be toileted, wearing a collar, and ready on a lead before I arrive.
• Dogs must be presented immediately once setup is complete.
• Delays in presenting your dog reduce the available grooming time.
• If too much of the appointment time is lost due to delays, the service may not be able to be completed, and full fees will still be payable as the appointment time has been used.
• If additional time is required due to delays, extra time may be available at an additional fee, however this is not guaranteed as it may cause delays to the next client.
• Dog toileting inside the trailer incurs a clean-up fee.

• Payment is required at the start of the appointment.
• Cash or card accepted (small card fee applies).
• Clients must have payment ready before the groomer arrives.
• Clients cannot leave during the appointment to withdraw cash or obtain funds.
• Leaving to get payment causes delays and may result in cancellation or additional fees.
