What products am I using on your dog?
Petway Products are formulated with natural oils and essences. They provide a soothing and non-irritating bathing experience. Formulated to cleanse safely and gently while leaving your dog's coat bright, shiny and with a pleasant long-lasting aroma.
Petway shampoos are high quality, free of harsh detergents, known allergens, SLS, SLES, PARABENS and Petrochemicals. They are also soap free and pH balanced for safe and effective use on dogs.
Many dog shampoos are made using SLS and SLES. These ingredients are inexpensive and therefore used commonly in shampoos. The problem with SLS and SLES is that they are very drying to the skin and are a known skin irritant. Have you noticed how your skin can feel quite dry after a shower? The same happens to your dog. But your dog cannot moisturize to relieve the dryness and they can be left feeling very itchy and uncomfortable. This often defeats the purpose of washing your dog. Petway shampoos do not do this to your dog as they do not contain SLS and SLES.
Bathing with an appropriate product can often be very soothing to your dog's skin particularly if they have itchy or sensitive skin - but you need to use the right product to ensure you do not irritate and dry out their skin.
SLS, SLES, AND PARABENS have a negative impact to the environment and contaminate our water systems. Petway is good for the environment and great for your dog's skin and coat.
